Peaberry Coffee
Often described as having a more concentrated, sweeter, and complex flavor with bright acidity and a full body, due to the single bean receiving all the cherry’s nutrients.
Not a variety, but a natural mutation/defect.
Occurs in about 5-10% of coffee cherries, where only one round, oval bean (instead of two flat beans) develops. Smaller and denser than regular beans.
